ingredients (serves 4)

150 plain flower

100 butter non salted

50 sugar

Add lemon or orange zest for added flavour


1. Start by softening your butter, then combine in a food mixer or by hand in a bowl with your flowr and sugar

2. When it forms a ball consistency on a clen suffice need together to o stretch the gluten, once its at a strong dough like consistency rolle out and and cut into a shape of your prefrance

3.Bake in a 170c oven for around 10-12 minutes once nice and golden take out of the oven sprinkle a tbls of sugar over and allow to rest for around 5 minutes
