spicy prawns en croute

ingredients (serves 2)

1 small ciabatta

8 king prawns (de shelled)

75g cold water prawns

25g butter

1 clove garlic

20ml white wine

100ml double cream

1tbs paprika

1tbs chilli powder

1tbs chilli flakes

olive/ veg oil

server with lemon and sweet chilli sauce


1. Start off by cutting you ciabatta in half (into quarters if large) drizzle with olive oil and seasoning with salt, pepper and garlic granules toast them in the oven at 180 for around 5 minutes

2. Next start by finely chopping your garlic then in a pan heat up your oil and add in your garlic fry off for 1 minute then add in your king prawns for 1-2 minutes ether side ones the prawns start coloring add in your white wine and then your butter and cold water prawns

3.When the butter has melted pour in you cream and season with your chilli powder, paprika, chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Bring the cream to boil then reduce down to a simmer until the sauce goes thick

4.Searve on your toasted ciabatta with a slice of lemon and some sweet chilli sauce
